Pregnancy week 28 is a MAJOR milestone… one of the last major milestones before the long-awaited birth itself.
It marks the beginning of the last stage of pregnancy. We had thought about celebrating this entry into my third trimester by going out and seeing a movie or something fun like that.
Instead, this picture describes exactly what I did… ALL WEEK LONG.
And to be honest, I can’t imagine a more satisfying celebration than that. The insane dreams I’ve been having beat any major motion picture I would have caught in theaters, anyway.
Aside from yawning, stretching, and a whole lot of laying around, I also conjured up the energy to try and figure out how these freakin’ cloth diapers work. Who knew a diaper could be so confusing?
When I asked Scott how they work, he basically laughed in my face for 10 minutes straight.
“How would I know anything about diapers?” he asked between chuckles, as though I should have any better idea – like I’ve secretly had 10 kids already and just forgot to mention that part of my life to him.

In this next picture, I have marked our baby’s position based on the pregnancy week 28 physical exam by our favorite midwife Pam (she comes from the South too and has the accent to prove it!).
Scott keeps tickling my right abdomen now and saying, “I’m tickling the baby’s feet!” …only to get promptly smacked upside the head by the person who is really feeling his obnoxious tickling!

I love the cloth diapers. They are so soft and adorable! I’d wear them on my own butt if it was socially acceptable. Haha!
